MINEHEAD 3rd XI chalked up another victory when they beat their visitors Wiveliscombe Seconds in Division Three of the West Somerset League.
After being put into bat the visitors made 210 for nine from their 40 overs. Harry Tudball claimed two early wickets before Warren Heyns joined Thomas Lorimer. The pair saw the total onto 41 before Tudball struck again to remove Heyns for 29.
Lorimer scored 44 before he, too, was bowled by Tudball who ended with the impressive figures of four for 29 from nine overs.
Later in the order Robin Stutt-Hannaford made 60 off 57 balls, Charlie Thorne hit 24 and Ian Pincombe remained unbeaten on 22 as Wivey ended on 210 for nine.
When Minehead replied Renjeesh Krishnan walked to the wicket with the hosts in trouble at 30 for three.
Along with opener Adrian Priddle, who carried his bat for 42 which came off 102 balls with eight fours, Krishnan helped to add 138 for the fourth wicket before he was bowled by Nathan Pincombe for 97, his runs coming from 54 balls with 11 fours and seven sixes.
Priddle was then joined by Jithin Rajan who remained not out 28 as Minehead Thirds reached 214 for four in 25 overs.
