MINEHEAD, who slumped to a surprise six-wicket loss away to Lympsham & Belvedere last weekend, will be looking to bounce back when they play at home to Temple Cloud in the Premier Division of the Somerset Cricket League this afternoon (Sat).
It is a crucial game for both sides. Minehead are still in second place despite last Saturday's setback, while the Bristol side are only ten points behind the Seasders, both teams having played the same number of games.
With only three matches to play for both teams, neither side can afford to lose making for an interesting contest. Minehead's defeat by Lympsham was particularly disappointing because their opponents had won only three games before last weekend.
Long Sutton remain leaders of the top division with a 19-point lead over Minehead and will improve their chances of winning the championship if they beat Trull, who are second from bottom.
