PORLOCK First XI played their third pre-season match last week when they hosted a strong Butlins Sunday XI, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

This was a good work out for the Porlock side who included new boy Lewis Goodrum (sponsored by A L Chimney Solutions),  who scored one of the two goals for the Robins. 

The home side’s other goal was scored by Chris Barrett (sponsored by GP Plumbing and Heating) who was the leading marksman last term.

Porlock Reserves have also been in pre-season action in preparation for te new league campaign that gets underway shortly.

The First XI start their 2024-25 season in the Premier Division of the West Country Drainage Services Taunton and District Saturday League with a home match against Bridgwater Wolves on Saturday, 21st September, kick off at 2.30pm

Porlock Reserves, who compete in Division Two, get their league season underway with an away fixture against Norton Fitzwarren Reserves on Saturday, 7th September, kick off 4pm.
