NICKY Martin, who trains at Withypool high up on Exmoor, notched up another winner at Taunton Racecourse last week, her first since December 30 when Almost Gotaway, a 9-1 shot, won the penultimate race - a handicap hurdle over two miles three furlongs with David Pritchard on board.

Earlier in the afternoon Inspiratrice ,the big outsider who won for Martin at the end of last year, ran another good race but in the end had to settle for third place - going off this time at 13-2 rather than 200-1!

Taunton host their next meeting on Tuesday, February 21, when the first race on the card has a big prize fund of over £68,600 on offer is due off at 2pm.

The big race on the card is The Cheltenham Festival Betting Guide Handicap Hurdle Race (Class 2) at 3pm, over a distance of two miles and half a furlong which has a huge prize pot of £25,000 up for grabs.
