MINEHEAD Barbarians will be looking to keep up the pressure at the top of Counties Two Somerset when they play at home to struggling Wells on Saturday, January 11 (2.30).
Wells go into the match against Babas, whose game last weekend was postponed because of the bad weather, having lost all 12 of their league matches and are six points adrift at the bottom of the table.
The Babas, lying second, trail leaders and title favourites Midsomer Norton by 12 points. Midsomer Norton, however, have a much tougher fixture on Saturday - home to third-placed Clevedon.
Minehead Barbarians 2nd XV, fourth in Counties Four Somerset South, play away to Martock who have a nine-point lead at the top of the table.
Wivelliscombe will be hoping to maintain their fine form in Counties One Western West on Saturday when they play at home to St Ives (2.30).
Wiveliscombe, who won 48-16 away to a young Tavistock side last weekend, are lying fifth in the table while St Ives are in eighth spot. Paignton are leaders of the division, having lost only one of their 14 matches.
Wiveliscombe 2nd XV are away to Hornets IV in Counties Four Somerset South.
