WIVELISCOMBE’S second fifteen continued their excellent form this season with a convincing victory over West Country neighbours Minehead Seconds.
The ever improving outfit with a majority of young players remain unbeaten so far this season.
Wiveliscombe played some attractive fifteen man rugby which Minehead struggled to contain and the good crowd that attended at Plain Pond on Friday evening were treated to some good rugby.
Wiveliscombe scored five first half tries through Ashley Irvine, Elliott Deeks, Josh White, Gage Hayman and Josh Alford.
Hugh William Harris converted two of the tries to give a half time score of 29-0.
Elliott Deeks crossed for his second try in the second half with Paul Gridley also adding a sixth for the home team.
Scrum half Hugh William Harris crossed for a brace of tries and and converted all four second half tries to complete a comprehensive 57-0 victory for the home team.
Wiveliscombe’s 1st XV scheduled league game against Kingsbridge at home on Saturday was cancelled as Kingsbridge could not field a front row.
