A ‘GRAND opening’ ceremony is being planned in Porlock next week for a Miles Tea and Coffee and village information centre collaboration in Vale Yard.
The first phase of the development has seen the relocation of the information and craft centre to Vale Yard and the creation of a ladies pre-loved clothing boutique and a hot desk office.
Porlock Town Crier Grant Dennis will be officiating at the ceremony on Thursday, April 3, and a commemorative plaque will be unveiled and a ribbon cut by Miles Tea and Coffee founder Derek Miles.
A spokesperson said the company was planning a phased development of the Vale Yard premises and aimed to open a community café, a Miles Tea and Coffee interactive museum, and some much-needed visitor accommodation.
