SECOND placed Bagborough were at home to third from bottom of the table Morebath in Division One of the West Somerset Cricket League on Saturday. 

The home side asked Morebath to bat and the visitors were soon in trouble as Henry Stirzaker and Mathew  Rafill reduced them to 44 for five before E Mock and Carl Hooper put on 29 for the sixth wicket.

Hooper and Gale then saw up the 100 before five runs later the former was out for 30. Gale remained at the crease until he was the ninth wicket to fall having made 37 soon after which Morebath were all out for 145 in 32.2 overs.

Raffill ended with an impressive five wickets for 30 while Stirzaker returned with two for 31. 

When the home side replied the opening partnership added 54 before Jed Glanvill was out for 30. The other opener Blake Jones saw the total onto 75 before he was run out for 13. Stirzaker and Craig Swinburne came together and added 60 before the latter was out for 39 with three fours and three sixes. Stirzaker remained at the crease to end unbeaten on 23 along with Henry Gresswell who was 10 not out as the hosts won by six wickets.
