THE golf course at Oake Manor Golf Club is starting to dry out after the recent wet weather enabling competitions to be played, much to the delight of members.

*A number of competitions at Oake Manor have been affected by the prolonged bad weather - the condition of the course being too wet in parts to play.

Part of the course has been closed at times, with members only able to play the opening 11 holes.

Lower lying holes next the Hillfarrance Brook are sometimes ruled out for competitions during an unusually spell of rain.
