UP TO 4,000 racegoers are expected to attend Tiverton Foxhounds’ annual point to point at Chipley Park, near Milverton, on Sunday January 26.

There is a strong seven-card entry with the first race set to start at 12 noon. It is one of the biggest outdoor events to be held in the area and there are 94 entries.

The feature race of the day, The Dilloway and Bosley Mixed Open Race, has attracted 12 entries. This could give local trainer David Pipe a winner, who is double handed with both Fighter Allen and Sidi Ismael entered.

Tickets (cash only) on the gate at £15pp. Racecards £3 or two for £5. Cash bar and hot food available.

It’s a great viewing course with gates opening at 9.30a.m.
