FINALLY, the season is starting and we have had a few runners, making their seasonal debuts. They have been travelling well into the race before tiring quickly and they should benefit from the run.
It was good to see Petticoat Lucy back on the track and she should be competitive over fences this season. Came From Nowhere finished a good third on his second start over hurdles, jumping well and settling better.
King Of The Lake settled well at Exeter and travelled well throughout the race; he was been so consistent last season, his time will come.
Western Article ran extremely well to finish fourth on her hurdling debut. Elusiveness finished well and will probably appreciate a step up in trip next time.
Leissieres Express ran well on his seasonal debut, but needs softer ground next time. Stormy Flight was unlucky to be hampered at a crucial stage which knocked him out of any contention.
Drash On Ruby ran well on her return and Celtic Art jumped and travelled well during his race and will come on for his run.
Joe Cotton ran a brilliant race at Stratford, jumped and travelled very well and battled all the way to the line, just got edged out of the winning spot.
