MINEHEAD Rugby Club have a thriving minis and juniors section and last Sunday the club staged a family fun and registration day with new balls which have been sponsored - thanks to a grant from Magna Housing and a car wash held at local business Neil Arnold Tyres.
Dick Tucker, the MBRFC Minis and Juniors chairman, said: “Thanks to this we are able to supply 144 new balls across our age grade teams which is a representation of how much our age grade section has grown over the last couple of seasons.
“It is such an important part of the club and helps the club produce its own senior players.”
