MINEHEAD Barbarians RFC Under 9s put up a good show despite losing their two matches against their Hornets’ counterparts.

Hornets were well drilled and disciplined. In the first game Minehead stood tall and strong each time they came at them but in the end Hornets proved too strong.

Once Minehead had a regroup and discussed what their opportunities were from the first game they started in earnest for the second with some real glimpses of hope. However again Hornets proved to be the better team.

It was a great effort from Barbarians Under ’s on a cold morning and above all fun was had and there were smiles all around.
