MINEHEAD Barbarians will be looking to step up the pressure at the top of Counties Two Somerset when they play away to Hornets' 2nd XV on Saturday, November 26.
The Babas, who beat Clevedon 38-12 last weekend, are lying second in the table, only two points behind leaders Midsomer Norton, both sides having won five of their opening six matches.
“Being second at this early stage of the season is probably beyond expectations,” said Minehead’s head coach Mick Orton. “We have played quite a few different players, some of them from the Twos.”
Midsomer Norton play away to sixth placed Imperial who have won three and lost three of their six matches.
Minehead Barbarians 2nd XV have a derby match at home to their Bridgwater & Albion counterparts in Counties Four Somerset (3p.m.).
Meanwhile Wiveliscombe, third in Counties Western West, play away to top of the table Paignton who have lost only one of their first six fixtures.
