THE garden of Elworthy Cottage will be open on Tuesday (April 23) as part of the National Garden Scheme from 11am to 4.30pm with its spring flowers, such as primulas, pulmonarias, camassias, and spring bulbs.
There are wood anemones and primroses in the wild flower area, and many interesting trees and shrubs with birds nesting, including a robin in one of the sheds, bees gathering pollen and nectar, and a hibernating behind the potting shed.
Teas in aid of the Children’s Hospice South West will be available.
Entry is £5 for adults and children are free of charge. Dogs are welcome on short leads.
