A PACKED schedule of Big Weekender breaks will be coming to Butlin’s for 2025.

Exclusively for adults, Butlin’s offer 15 different three-day weekend getaways dedicated to providing a unique “Big Weekend” experience of music and discos across its resort.

Butlin’s Minehead is situated on the edge of Exmoor and is the “largest, and arguable most scenic, resort” of the three UK locations.

The resort features its purpose-built Skyline Pavilion which transforms into a 5,000-capacity venue, surrounded by 14 restaurants, bars and shops as well as necessary services and amenities, all with Minehead beach on its doorstep.

The first Butlin’s resort was opened in 1936 in Skegness followed by a second in Clacton-on-Sea chosen by Billy Butlin. The founder also opened a Butlin’s Bahamas in the 1950s after travelling to the Caribbean for a holiday.

The Minehead venue was established in 1962 along with the monorail and has been hosting events ever since.

Big Weekenders range from an Ibiza experience with a ‘Dance Weekender’, a 60s themed holiday over a ‘Decade Weekender’ to a Bootleg Ball for a ‘Devoted Weekender’.

As well as three-nights of accommodation, each weekend offers headline acts, pool parties, silent discos, live comedy and Bingo Bango.

Headliners for 2025 will include new names Matt Goss and Charlie Simpson alongside fan favourites Peter Andre, Wet Wet Wet and Atomic Kitten.

Accommodation options include rooms, apartments and hotels and a range of food choices with no tents or muddy fields in sight.

Butlin’s are offering a limited 25 per cent off 2024 and 2025 Big Weekenders from £52pp.

The next Minehead Big Weekender is a We Love Ibiza opportunity from September 27 – 30, followed by ‘Back To The 2000s’ on October 4 -7 2024.
