AN event to follow up on a recent climate fair in Minehead will be held later this month in the new premises of eco-businessman Keith Hunt.

Anybody who was unable to attend the climate fair on September 28 will be able to catch up through a ‘friendly follow-up’ session in Our Precious Earth, which has relocated from Holloway Street to Wellington Square.

Organised by West Somerset Green Forum, it will be held in the plastic-free shop at 7.30 pm on Monday, October 28, with free drinks and refreshments on offer.

The climate fair, attended by more than 100 people, saw more than 20 organisations represented and needed about 70 volunteers to put on the event.

Forum board member Elizabeth Atkinson said ripples from the event were spreading with those who attended making new contacts and developing links for new projects.

New members and volunteers had been recruited and many new climate-friendly pledges had been made.
